John is the founder of MCG. Delivering client strategy and building partner relationships are his main drivers at work each day. His passion for Chinese culture and business developed after living in China for 7 years and working with Chinese for over 18 years. John speaks fluent Mandarin.
Kim earned his Master's degree in journalism from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Kim mostly oversees lifestyle content, including fashion, grooming, travel and dining.
Direct of Art & Design
Jany is responsible for art and design of MCG's print and digital publications, branding, and creative for clients and partners. Jany graduates from SAIC with a Masters in Fine Arts.
Hamilton is responsible for strategic partnerships and is Executive Editor of Mandarin Leader. Mr. Chang has led groups specializing in risk management for Fortune 100 companies, investment banking for not-for-profit/municipal entities, structured/derivative products, and tax-exempt bond trading. He is the primary point of contact for Mandarin Leader.
Yaxi is responsible for supporting clients' marketing and branding efforts across MCG's platforms. She also leads creative editorial undertakings including cover stories, features, and custom publishing.
Christina is responsible advising clients on branding and marketing strategy, specializing in Southern California. In addition to being a lawyer by training, Christina's career has offered her opportunities contribute to the development of LA's Chinese community and build up a broad network of strategic relationship. She is the primary contact for the newly launched Mandarin Quarterly LA.
Yu-jin, or simply "Jin" oversees editorial direction for Mandarin Quarterly and Mandarin Weekend, with a particular focus on fashion and dining. Originally from Taiwan, Jin has her Masters of Journalism from Roosevelt University.
